Kid Space ~ Summer Camp
Kid Space is gearing up for our fourth season of summer camp in St Lucie County!
We’ve grown a little adding more space for our new preschool program and added even more exciting programs for our school age campers as well!
Friday’s lunch & all field trips are included in tuition!
The Kid Space Summer Camp Program provides a healthy and challenging environment for school-age children ages 5– 14.
Our Kindle Academy preschool program offers an alternative for children ages 3 & 4.
All of our activities center around age appropriate sports programs as well as arts and crafts. We also promote free playtime to allow children to develop needed teamwork skills and social development Healthy snacks and beverages will be provided daily.
Oxbow Eco Center, Hobe Sound Nature Center and Busch Wildlife will all be back for several visits with animals and exhibits for our campers to interact with. These nature programs were a big hit with last year’s crew. We’ll also be hitting The City Pool, Waveland Beach & the Fountains in Jensen for some water fun. Don’t Worry we have plenty of experienced staffers with us on these trips!
Also on our schedule this summer, The new Children’s Museum in Jensen, Kilwyn’s Ice Cream Shop, Whispering Pine & Turtle Run park, the movies just to name a few.

Just to keep everything fresh for back to school, we’ll be hosting both Reading and Math clubs for all campers this summer.

What makes us different?
The people, the place and the opportunities at Kid Space are what set us apart from other Summer Camps. Our staff is made up of dedicated adults, not teens, with CPR certification and teaching experience. Our staff to student ratio is always well below the state mandate. We normally have 1 staff member for each 10 students in our facility. We have almost no staff turnover. Most of our counselors have been with us since the beginning in 2007, and remain with us during the year during our After School program.
Our Facility is designed with older kids in mind. Kid Space is NOT a day care. We are first and foremost and After School Program and Martial Arts school for elementary and Middle school students. In the art room campers have access to many different materials all throughout the day, as well as counselor led projects at designated times. After a morning at the beach, campers may choose to build a giant robot in the Lego lab or take a turn on the Wii with friends. Although we do have a Tv and video games here at Kid Space we use them sparingly. Our counselor planned and student led activities take up the majority of our day.
At Kid Space we believe in providing options for many types of activities throughout the day, as well as field trips to educational and fun locations in St Lucie and Martin County. Previous trips have included hiking at Oxbow eco center, weekly trips to Waveland beach, The Children's Museum, Whispering Pines Park, pottery painting and gymnastics. Our campers love the visits from Busch Wildlife and Hobe Sound Nature Center. Check out pictures of the wild animals they have brought to Kid Space in the past. Of course we also offer great in house activities as well, including Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Drama, and a a fantastic art program. Our campers work on scrapbooks for each week of camp they attend.What a treasured souvenir of their summer!

Summer Camp Rates
Full time 5 days: $135 wk ($20 sibling Discount)
Part time 3 Days: $90
2 Days: $60
*A limited number of part time spots are available

Registration Fee:
$40 (includes Karate Uniform and 1 Kid~Space t-shirt.)
Lunch: Pizza will be provided for all students on Mondays.
Tuesday- Friday students may either bring their own lunch or purchase a hot lunch.
A healthy hot lunch is provided by Shindig Irish Restaurant for $4 a day.
